Adwords Latest Formula for Top Ad Placement

Adwords Update

Previously, ads obtain top placement through bidding the actual CPC (actual amount paid for a click on the Ad)

Now, the current formula for getting top ad placement is Maximum CPC (Highest amount willing to pay for a click on the Ad)

Note: Ads with high Maximum CPC but, with less Quality Score cannot obtain the top placement. Give Priority to your Quality Scores…

Adwords Advertisers, please comment whether this change in Formula is effective? Do you see any changes in the Performanace and ROI??
